These store policies are provided to ensure clear and consistent information regarding purchases, returns, warranties, and radio-controlled hobby products. If you have any questions, please contact us or speak with a staff member in store.

Returns and returned Merchandise

All returns must be made within thirty (30) days of the original purchase date. Returns that exceed thirty (30) days may be considered for store credit at the discretion of management.

Items purchased during the holiday season (Thanksgiving through Christmas) as gifts must be returned no later than January 20th.

Only items that are unopened, unused, and in the original packaging will be accepted for return.

Refunds for items purchased with a credit card will be credited back to the same card used for the original purchase. Items purchased with a personal check will be credited after a fifteen (15) day waiting period from the original purchase date.

Warranty Claims

All items sold by Ray & Robin’s Hobby Center are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty terms and conditions. Warranty claims may require the item to be returned to the manufacturer, at the owner’s expense, for inspection.

Ray & Robin’s Hobby Center is happy to assist with processing warranty claims on your behalf; however, please note that manufacturer warranty resolution may take several weeks.

We accept cash, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover), and in-state personal checks with proper identification.

All personal checks are subject to bank verification.
All returned checks are subject to a $25.00 processing fee.

Radio Control and Electronic Items

Ray & Robin’s Hobby Center specializes in radio-controlled hobby products. All consumer electronics are sensitive in nature and will not tolerate user abuse. These products must be operated strictly within the manufacturer’s guidelines.

Electronic items may fail if exposed to moisture or wet environments, and such exposure may void the manufacturer’s warranty.

Ray & Robin’s Hobby Center does not warranty rechargeable batteries. However, we will act in our customers’ best interest with manufacturers should a battery prove problematic.

radio control cars

We sell high-quality radio-controlled cars, which are high-maintenance by nature. It is the responsibility of the buyer to follow the manufacturer’s break-in and maintenance guidelines.

Most radio-controlled cars are available as Ready-To-Run (RTR). Buyers of RTR vehicles should familiarize themselves with proper operation and ongoing maintenance.

Manufacturers of RTR vehicles make every effort to ensure proper construction; however, rare oversights may occur.
Ray & Robin’s Hobby Center cannot be responsible for these rare defects, but we will gladly assist customers in resolving such matters directly with the manufacturer.
